Great campsite for groups, families and individuals. Friendly staff. Fab walks from campsite, along with Keswick and Winlatter on the doorstep.

We hebben er heerlijk gekampeerd. Prima voorzieningen, ruime plekken en een dorpje met 2 pubs op loopafstand.

Hele fijne camping bij een schapenboer op het erf. De eigenaren zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Sfeer is ontspannen. Sanitair is schoon en deels verwarmd. Ruime plekken. Op loopafstand van Braithwaite en een hele goede uitvalsbasis voor prachtige wandelingen. Geen last van de weg gehad die er langsloopt.
Wat mij betreft een absolute aanrader.

Perfect for us!
Lovely basic site with perfect surroundings. Toilets and showers were very clean and warm, i was concerned there wasn’t many of them but never had to wait for either so it works somehow!
Very safe for my 3yr old to play. He loved the friendly dogs !
Good cycling to be done straight from the campsite, we cycled into the village to try food at the pubs. 5 minutes drive from Whinlatter forrest which is amazing.
Very respectful campers on site, quiet at night and quiet in the morning too! Will definately be back .

Really nice campsite ideal location as the bus route to keswick passes by. I noticed a lot of reviews complain about the toilets/showers but I thought they were good, always clean and not too far to walk from the camping field. Camping field was relatively quiet and well spread out.

The campsite was lovely, nicely layed out and well maintained. Toilets and shower facilities are simple but nice and clean. Even had a little shop to buy bits. There’s a bus every hour into Keswick that’s only 5 mins away from the campsite

What an amazing campsite every type of camper on site most of the vw kept on one part of the site lots of young kids coming to stay for one night doing hikes them moving on good facilities small shop sells the basics great friendly staff and couldn’t ask for a better location stayed 3 nights end of June 24 the weather was atrocious but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay will be back soon
