I stayed at Lanefoot Farm Campsite in September on a non-electric van pitch with just myself and Otto the dog, and we had a lovely stay.

The campsite is quiet and tucked away on the outskirts of Thornthwaite, making it a great base for enjoying the beautiful Lake District.

The toilet and shower facilities were clean, tidy and looked to have been recently refurbished.

Despite being a traditional working farm, the site is very dog-friendly, which made it a great choice for travelling with Otto.

All in all, a lovely site with a peaceful atmosphere and good facilities.

I’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to the Lakes!
