Bleaberry Lodge is a detached cottage with stunning Views of Skiddaw, Latrigg, and the Helvellyn range.
The cottage has been comfortably furnished, and is a real 'home from home'.
Bleaberry Lodge has gas-fired central heating throughout.
The cottage has a dining kitchen with a gas fuelled AGA. There are fell and garden views from the windows. There is a Belfast sink with wooden work tops, and a fully integrated dishwasher. There is a large fridge, and a separate freezer, a microwave, a toaster and a radio.
The lounge has a free standing woodburning stove. Two walls have windows, with views of the valley and fells, and over the garden. There are two 3 seater sofas, a large flat screen television, with Sky and a DVD player. The bookcase contains a selection of games, books, magazines and reading material relevant to the local area.
There is a 'snug' with a chaise longue in the bay window, to take full advantage of the panoramic views.
There is a utility room with separate washing machine and tumble drier, and a coat and shoe cupboard.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has views towards the fells and over the garden. It has a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a comfortable chair.
The second bedroom has a double bed, with bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe and a wicker chair. The window boasts fells views.
The third bedroom has twin beds, bedside tables with lamps, and a built-in wardrobe. The window has fine fell views.
There is a separate shower room, and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside, the front garden has furniture to make the most of the uninterrupted fell and valley views. To the side and rear of the cottage, there are 2 acres of grass and woodland to explore, with private access into Whinlatter Forest. There is also a small orchard and a couple of swings.
There is ample private off-street parking for 3 cars or more, on the secluded driveway.
Bicycle storage is available in the lockable shed.
Red squirrels, rabbits, deer, bats, and many birds frequent the garden, which is abundant with daffodils in March and April, and Foxgloves in May and June.
